Immerse Yourself in Canadian Culture with Homestay or Roomstay
By choosing a Homestay/Roomstay experience, you'll add another dimension to your CultureWorks education experience. Living with a Canadian family allows you to immerse yourself in Canadian culture and gives you an excellent opportunity to practice and improve your English language skills. Plus, your Homestay/Roomstay family can offer you additional guidance and help as you settle into your new community.
Great care is taken matching you with a Homestay/Roomstay family. To help ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, CultureWorks will carefully select a family that understands and respects your culture and religion.
The Homestay Option:
Homestay costs $29.00 per day and will include all meals.
The Roomstay Option:
Roomstay costs $18.00 per day and no food is provided.
For convenient access to the university and classes, we will place you with a Homestay/Roomstay family located within a reasonable bus ride to campus. However, we believe the quality of the family is more important than the distance to the school. We will not change your Homestay/Roomstay because of the distance from the school.
