Immerse Yourself in Canadian Culture with Homestay or Roomstay
By choosing a Homestay/Roomstay experience, you'll add another dimension to your CultureWorks education experience. Living with a Canadian family allows you to immerse yourself in Canadian culture and gives you an excellent opportunity to practice and improve your English language skills. Plus, your Homestay/Roomstay family can offer you additional guidance and help as you settle into your new community.
Great care is taken matching you with a Homestay/Roomstay family. To help ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, CultureWorks will carefully select a family that understands and respects your culture and religion.
The Homestay Option:
Homestay costs $28.00 per day and will include all meals.
The Roomstay Option:
Roomstay costs $17.00 per day and no food is provided.
For convenient access to the university and classes, we will place you with a Homestay/Roomstay family located within a reasonable bus ride to campus and maybe even within walking distance. However, we believe the quality of the family is more important than the distance to the school. We will not change your Homestay/Roomstay because of the distance from the school.
