Student Life at CultureWorks
The CultureWorks experience is so much more than high quality teaching and classroom learning. We put a tremendous amount of effort into providing support to you for your time outside of the class as well.
We assist you in finding the most appropriate housing option for you. We offer you a choice of Homestay or Roomstay.
Our Homestay program ensures that our families and their houses meet our very high standards for food, cleanliness and proximity to campus, and is a 'full-service' arrangement, where food is provided and prepared for the student. We strive to place you in the best kind of family to meet your needs and to expose you to family life in Canada. University residences and off-campus apartments are also an option and we can guide you in making those arrangements.
Our Roomstay program ensures that our families and their houses meet our very high standards for cleanliness and proximity to campus. In the Roomstay program, you will be expected to provide and prepare your own food. We strive to place you in the best kind of family to meet your needs and expose you to family life in Canada. University residences and off-campus apartments are also an option and we can guide you in making those arrangements.

We support you in many ways through our Student Services team. Each of our campuses has a dedicated support person who will assist you with any visa issues, university applications, medical insurance and any other area where you may require some help. Student Services also helps with our student government, the CultureWorks Student Society.
We have also included some information in this section regarding working in Canada while you are here as a student and some opportunities to volunteer around the university or in the greater community.
