Working in London
Working on campus is a wonderful way to become more involved with the university community while making a little extra money at the same time. On-campus work programs such as the International Student Work Opportunities Program (ISWOP) and the International Work Experience (IWE) Program, provide international students with the opportunity to gain and enhance skills, obtain work experience in a Canadian context, and enhance their experience of studying and living in Canada.
Working off campus is also a fantastic way to become more connected to the London community.
To be eligible for a work permit, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma program. You must possess a valid study permit and must be able to provide proof of full time studies for at least six months preceding your application for a work permit.
Unfortunately, students registered in full-time English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are not eligible to apply for a work permit.
