Volunteering in London

CultureWorks stresses community involvement as a great way for students to learn more about North America, practice their English and build leadership skills at the same time. At CultureWorks there are many opportunities for volunteering - through our Canadian Studies program, our "Buddy" program, or through Brescia's own volunteer office called "Beyond Brescia".

Talk to one of our knowledgeable Student Services Coordinators to learn more about getting involved!

Recent Examples of CultureWorks Students Making a Difference in the Community

    • A group of CultureWorks students volunteered their time to clean up Medway Creek, revitalizing its beauty for all of London to enjoy.
    • Another group of students played an important role in feeding disadvantaged families in the city by sorting canned goods at the local food bank.
    • A CultureWorks graduate was voted "Volunteer of the Year" at Brescia University College in 2007.  Congratulations to Yuan Lin!
