Be a Buddy
Each term there are a number of new faces at CultureWorks as we welcome students from around the world. Many of these students have never traveled outside of their home countries before, so we offer orientation services to help them learn about campus facilities, school policies, travel contacts, community multicultural resources, multi-lingual doctors in the city, sports facilities, medical clinics, and immigration procedures. You can help out these new students too!
The CultureWorks Buddy program matches each new student with an experienced CultureWorks student or graduate who will accompany the new student to help with things like opening a bank account, buying a bus pass, learning the bus system, and purchasing textbooks.
